Writing our Dreams is a book that collects stories written by 23 students at Kūtha Primary School in Kitui County, Kenya, in 2023. The book editors and the coordinating school teachers worked with the students to write and illustrate narratives that showcase each students’ dreams and passions. 

For this project, I worked as a designer and illustrator to transform students’ illustrations into this book, which we hope serve as a reminder of the power that each student holds in their voice and stories, and as inspiration for future generations of Kūtha Primary scholars and families.
